ISHOLA ADEBOWALE WANYA OPANUBI June 8, 1995 - April 18, 2009 The Lord has called home Ishola Wanya Opanubi, the precious son of Michelle Lake and Ade Opanubi. Ishola was one in a million! He was filled with love and laughter, and touched the heart and soul of everyone he met. He overcame many challenges despite insurmountable odds. There was no end to his determination and inquisitive nature. Books, food and movies were some of his favourite things, but best of all he loved giving his mom hugs and kisses. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 1st, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Home, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. The service to celebrate Ishola's life will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd at New Anointing Christian Fellowship, 1425 Manitoba Ave. We wish to thank the staff and doctors of the Children's Hospital, the family agencies, Ishola's school - teachers and the in-home respite workers, for the love and support given to him. Ishola is survived by: his mom, dad, four half-brothers, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Hospital. Ishola, you will be missed by all, and will always be in our hearts. The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Job1:21b
